Cuthill Rum

A locally made, small batch spiced rum draws inspiration from its unique production location. Just north of Auckland lies Cuthill, a region historically favored by gum diggers at the dawn of the 19th century. Inspired by the grit, hard work, and determination of these early laborers, the bottle design is deliberately stripped back and utilitarian. It uses screen printing rather than traditional labeling to evoke the look of the ceramic earthenware mugs these tough workers once drank from, creating a strong connection to the past.
