Hi there.

I’m Matt, the Creative Director at Onfire Design in Auckland, New Zealand. An independent agency specialising in brand building, storytelling and packaging design.

A bit about me. Former U17 West Sussex Squash representative, former Southern England trampoline representative, failed (just 4 weeks) BBC Screenwriting
job, occasional spin cycle instructor and a pretty average juggler and coffee snob lover. A winding road to being
where I am today.

With 24+ years of experience at various studios in the UK, Holland and New Zealand I now lead a team of talented individuals at Onfire. Collaborating closely to elevate brands, refresh or create packaging and create unique consumer experiences. 

Onfire’s work has been recognised in the World Brand Society's global Top 10 agency list 2018/19 through to 2022/23. I am also a proud professional member of the
New Zealand Designers Institute, a speaker for Design Assembly, a New Zealand design community organisation and NZ FMCG Magazine Marketing Summit Speaker.
As well as being Creative Director at Finery, a New Zealand based start-up drinks manufacturer, with a range of premium zero percent and alcoholic RTD drinks.
